Part 2: Day 7 - Cruising

Well today is our last day and we will be spending it out at sea.  We have a couple of functions that we are attending today.  11am is the suite party and at noon, lunch with an officer.  It's sad but this week did go by too fast.  I think we just need to win the lotto so we can 5 back to backs in a row.

Last night the cabin Stewart made an octopus for out towel pet.

We all had a good time last night after dinner.  Mary and Rick were dancing.  Yes, Mary was leading.😝

Phil and Carol also danced.

Today at 11am Joanne and Hank have a Galley tour where they will go behind the scenes in the kitchen. At 2:00pm they have a bridge tour and at 3:00pm Phil and Carol have a bridge tour as well.

Part 2: Day 6 - Barbados

I'm As we arrive in Barbados we pick up a passenger.

We went down to the port to just walk around and found a place that makes tobaccos.

We had to try fried flying fish.  Phil liked it.

Part 2: Day 5 - St. Lucia

We had a private tour in this island.  It was great!  I actually did not fall asleep! LOL.

We went around the entire island.  He took is to places where Rick abs I have not been before.

This is Fisherman's  Bay.

The view from this island is just breath taking.

Here is a view of the Pitons and an active volcano.

This is a natural water fall and there are people that actually take baths here.  I had to wait until they left.

Nice picture of my brother in law Phil and his bride Carol.

BTW, the pictures are like this because they are taken in Panoramic view.

Afterwards it was dinner at Potofino's restaurant.

Next up, purr last stop, Barbados!

Part 2: Day 4 - St. John Antigua

We were supposed to go to St. Marteen on day 3 which was Monday; however, due to hurricane Gonzalo, the captain cancelled that pretty in order to avoid the hurricane. Great call; however, many were disappointed because they had excursions booked.  Of course they were refunded what they spent.  Some even said that there was no hurricane and that Royal Caribbean skipped it for another reason. Ya OK!  You go there by yourself.

So, day 4 we stopped at St. John Antigua. Rick and I have been Herr before too so all we really did was walk around the port and go to the actual church of St John.

The church is being renovated so it was close to the public.  It was damaged by another storm.  The church itself was  near a cemetery and a lot of the graves were up rooted.  Of course nosie me had to see if any of the caskets came up and opened up.  Nope!

That night as usual the gang decided to go to Seaview Cafe like we always do around 11pm to have our evening snack.  Rick had his Reuben sandwich.  The Vizcarras joined us.  It was nice to have Victor and Evelyn join us.

Next stop, St. Lucia.

Part 2: Day 2 - St. Croix

Today we had a tour at St. Croix.  The bus driver was knowledgeable but there were times when he would say, "and to my left" or "to my right" and there are nothing but trees.  Umm, what the hell are you talking about?

We stopped in front of a Baobob tree and he said the near of the fruit was edible. Seed was bitter and the meat had no flavor.

Then later we stopped at a village but almost all the stores we closed because it was Sunday.  Well that was smart!

Not much to see. We did see these huge fish.

I think they are called tarpin.

Day 7 - St. Thomas

St.Thomas hasn't changed much except we were the only Ship docked so the vendors were more pushy than usual.

While there I found out that my favorite restaurant, Cuzzins was closed.  They are renovating.  Wow, I've been going there since the 80s and this the first time I've experienced this closing.  So, someone suggested going to Gladys Restaurant.  The food was great!  I had stewed oxtail.

On the way back we stopped at senior frog's.  Just checking to see if they have any new T-shirts.  Nothing to write home to Mother about.  So Rick decided to pose instead.

Tomorrow we are heading back to San Juan for the 2nd half of our cruise.
